OH, so sorry! Keep the faith, it can also be allergies. Finn used to get nose bleeds as well after sneezing. My thoughts are with you.

sorry to hear of your loss and so soon after losing your first pup. I saw my first Irish setter since losing Finn, it was so strange, petting him, he felt just like Finn and was of similar color too.

Hope all is well tonight for all.

sounds good and makes sense. My vet used to tell me 45 day cycles were just fine as well. I think I used to give it to him June throough october and then had him tested twice a year with the IDEXX test which covers Heartworm, Lyme and Erlichia anyway.

good to hear from you all and I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband Sue. As much as I love my Finn, your loss is infinitely greater. I hope you are doing OK. I ended back up on the site looking for some info for my friend who's vet is pushing all the vaccines (including Lymes) and the ...

hello to my gang

Hey guys, just saying hello. I am really hoping things are going well for everyone. I am hanging in there but miss my boy every day. I dream of him all the time. No plans for a new bud but I still take every opportunity to pet a friendly sole.

Take care and hug your boys and girls for me

Finn celebrates 1 year!

Hey gang, I know I've been a stranger but all is well as can be expected and Finn celebrated his one year anniversary of no Grand mals and his 7th year of his adoption on the 13th. I can't claim no activity, there is a lot going on just under the surface with him. The meds are suppressing the Grand ...

A small bump in the road my friend! Good run and we all are goin gto have those. What's more important is the overall quality of life. Mk is enjoying life and one day about 150 is not a bad record. I wish I could have that many good days in a row!

Hey MK, sorry I have been away. In reading the posts, I would have thought it was heat and I would have asked if MK has been drinking a lot of pond or lake water. Let us know how she is doing.

Very sorry to hear. The heat is very hard on the dogs on AED's. I alsways have the AC on with ceiling fans. Some nights he still wakes up panting heavilly. I would think that after several months your dog will agjust to some point. You have to give it some time though. I was ready to call it quits o...
