Thanks Vivian, That advice is very helpful. PJ is 71/2 and started seizures earlier this year. He has had no ticks or head injuries and he doesn't have the blank stare, falling down seizures I see so much of on this site. He just snaps at imaginary flies. Thanks for the info- that amount is way over what we will be able to pay. From my research this fly-biting seems to not be typical epilepsy- so I'm not sure any more meds will help. We are praying for wisdom to know what to do tohelp him

cost of neuro consult

My pug, PJ is still having mild fly-biting seizures ( 7 or 8 a month) on Pheno and KBr- our vet wants us to see a neurologist- I was just wondering what it will cost and what benefit I can expect. Thanks.

Thanks Vivian for such a quick reply- we haven't ever gone to feeding 3 times a day since he was a puppy but I do supplement his dog food with salt- free veggies and apples between meal. I do understand that the pacing is par for the course- it just seems so strange that it ramps up in the evening r...

My male pug PJ, 7 1/2 yrs old has been having complex partial seizures ( fly-biting) since March 09. He is 21 lbs and on 32.5 mg of pheno and .7cc of kbr twice a day as close to 12 hrs apart as we can keep him ( never off by more than 30 mins).
