Hi, I don't have the experience you've mentioned, bit the post ictal phase is something I do have experience with. Give a tsp only of hagen das ice cream, then a bit of food 10 mins later. This has stopped our post ictal pacing from 4 hour to zero time! I use rescue remedy to calm her on top the ice...

Hi, I'm new to the site and I see that your post is over a month old, but in case you're still cHecking. If your pup has a lesion and if this goes away or is removed, then that's called secondary epilepsy and can go away with the physical removal of the lesion. wouldn't that be fantastic! I so hope ...

New here not to epilepsy--twirling episodes unknown

New here not to epilepsy--twirling episodes unknown. We have good seizure control ( now every 2-3 months between GMs) with KBr, 3 meals a day, home cooking/wellness core low fat kibble mix, melatonin. We have ended the post-ictal phase with Hagen daz ice-cream, rescue remedy, ice pack and home cooke...
