Wow, that's awful about the possibility of your dogs being poisoned! My dogs are very active and I do a lot of training, so we stay pretty fit. My Aussie is definitely an easy keeper, but seems to do well on the Evo weight management diet. I'd prefer he stays closer to 60lbs, but he tends to be 63-6...

Thank you! While searching this board, I was hoping you'd respond to my thread. Yes, I do have Dusty on Milk Thistle, and he does get a chem done to monitor liver functions. I actually have asked about denamarin but my vet thought it wasn't necessary at this point. I have retested his thyroid levels...

With my dog...after the very 1st (known?) seizure, I requested a 4DX snap test and he was positive for both Lyme and Anaplasmosis. I'm another who has a dog on Zonisamide-300mgs twice a day (65lb Aussie). Pheno alone was not stopping my dog's seizures and I was worried about the side effects of long term pheno usage so I am so hopeful this helps! I'd love to hear more success stories! Hi! New to forum...my intro and story.

I've grown up with dogs and over the years, we did have dogs with health issues, mostly heart disease, DM and cancer. As an adult, I now have two of my own dogs, a Sheltie and an Aussie.
