Re: General Board
I would like to see a "like" or "thumbs up" button. I read so many posts on here, but I don't always have anything to add. But it would be so nice to let the person know that I read their post and empathize.
Thanks for considering this.

Re: Cannabis Oil
Hi KMarg, This is encouraging news, both for the seizure control and for Kaiser’s improvement. I hope Kaiser continues to ‘wake up’ and interact more joyfully with you and Charlie. I will keep you in my prayers. Trevor & Spencer Grateful for the good days, weeks (months). Thank you SpencerBhu...

Re: Cannabis Oil
Well we made it to August. Whew! Kaiser has lost weight and is down to about 90 pounds now. He no longer eats like every meal is his last one. This morning, he didn't finish his breakfast. I think that is because he is no longer on the pheno. I continue to use VetCBD for Kaiser. I give him 1ml with ...

Re: Helping Tanner naturally
Your posts are very helpful. Thank you for sharing. My dog, a German Shepard mix, has had seizures since he was about a year old. He was on Keppra, pheno and K-Bro. On July 4th this year he went into status epilictic (or whatever it is called). He had over 20 grand mals in approximately 48 hours, an...

Re: Coconut oil is great for skin issues and...Fleas? ticks?
Thanks for this information. Fleas are thick right now and I do not want to put any chemical on or in my dog at this point. He has had a really tough month. I am going to try this because he does have a couple hot spots.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Cannabis Oil
My dog Kaiser just went through a very trying time. He had over 20 grand mall seizures in 48 hours. He spent 2 days at the Vet. The vet also discovered that he had very high levels of pheno in his system. The vet finally called and said there was nothing else they could do for him - he was still hav...

Re: Triggers
My dog had immediate seizures after eating cornbread, once. So I put him on a grain free kibble, just to be careful. He also had immediate seizures after eating a specific dog food. I think it was one of the additives - maybe the chickory or the rosemary. I cannot be sure as I have no way to isolate...

Things that cause seizures
There is probably a thread for this somewhere, but I haven't found it yet, so thought I would post it here for now and then move it when I find the right place for it. I understand all dogs (and cats) are different and what might be a problem for one, is not necessarily a problem for another, but I ...

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the welcome. I'm so happy to have found this forum and to be here. To be able to read the stories and advice of others is very helpful and gives me hope for a long future with my Kaiser.

Re: Changes in the style of seizures
Well Kaiser seems to be doing better overall this last couple of days. Maybe it was just letting the meds wear off. This disease seems to change from from episode to episode and I'm never sure just what is going on. The seizures are somewhat the same to varying degrees, but the changes in Kaiser's p...
