Dylan had tennis balls with pawprint, but it was white, don`t guess that makes a diffrence. never had plastice squeeky toys, but have had colored frisbees. maybe when he has his next blood test I will have the vet check for lead.

oh kurt, thats great! so happy for jackson!
thats part of what makes this a horriable illness. all dogs are so diffrent, what is good for 1 is way wrong for another.
keep on counting

no wonder you are worried, that would scare the bejeezes out of me to.
can`t help you much, not familiar with the drugs you are using.
Dylan is on both Pb and kbr.
I think I would try and find a neo spicalist/university.

welcome from one of the other Deb`s.
seizing while welping, that would be a tuff thing to handle. but have to agree, sure hope the breeder didn`t know before hand and has stopped breeding. if not a great big bite in the butt for them.
getting the meds balanced can be tricky. good luck

Dylan was 11 months free, backed way down to 1/2 a pill aday, vet and I just talked about cutting it out, he had 3 seizures, 6 weeks later he had 10 in three days. he is now back up to his max dose of 2 whole and 1 half a day.

I gave Dylans liquid by just squirting it in his mouth, but gave him raw beef liver after, to help wash it down. now that we have his dose set, I had the pharmacy switch to pills, easier for someone else to give if they have to.

Dylan is on them both
the pb I get from the vet, really cheap, 15$ for 2 months worth
the kbr I get from a compounding pharmacy, about $40 a month.
he and my vet work together on other animals meds, so they just call each other to update the RX

Dylan has been on kbr for just over a year, he does have a harder time getting up after he has been sleeping awhile, he doesn`t run as fast, our sheltie can flat outrun him now, but he still out corners her, nor is he as fast up or down the steps. its alittle tough watching our speeddemon being slow...
