I'm so sorry to hear that Casey is having a really tough time at the moment. It's strange that we've had a few dogs start seizing again around the same time.

Sending lots of healing thoughts for Casey and you, we all know how stressful this thing is.

That's very similar to Poppy's - thrashing with all legs all the way through.

God I really feel for these dogs......

I'm so sorry for you both, how awful and how cruel.

I suppose we can't take anything for granted, Poppy is almost 9 months free, and I treasure every day we get through.

Thinking of you and hugs for Dylan.

I too read that rawhide is not good - it is often bleached and can contain bacteria. I no longer give Poppy any rawhide or other 'doggie' treats as they all have 'permitted' colourings and preservatives. It would be nice if comanies listed these chemicals/preservatives, then we could make up our own...

Great news that Casey is home and is doing ok - The drain things sound awful and messy, poor Casey, lets hope that he will be up and about soon. I know what you mean about the collar! Poppy just had a tendon operation, and as she has a 'pointy' nose being greyhound/whippet we had to have a huge one!...

Hi there I too would maybe wait a bit, as long as the seizures do not get more frequent. It's a hard one to juggle, I note that your vet says that his back leg 'wobbliness' maybe linked to a neurological disorder - did he say what he thought that may be - and could that be linked to the infrequent s...

That's really good news Loren.

I also am trying to find more out about taurine - I really hope this does the trick for your dog.

Hi Tara So sorry to hear about your dog. It is good that you were referred to a neurologist, they can run all the relevant tests that need to be done. Border Collie's seem to be hyper sensitive to many things. I do hope you can get McKenna's seizures under good control. It's scary when you first get...

So sorry to hear that Barney is not too good at the moment. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an improvement.

It is so sad that this affects our dogs at an age when they should be illness free....

Hugs for your both.
