Hi Vivian, "but he developed DIC (disseminated intravascular coagulation) which means he bled out" ... this is what happened to us, I wikipedia the "disseminated intravascular coagulation" and admit that 99% of the medical stuff is over my head but it sounds to me like the body "turn's on itself" .....
