I hope it ends up being just what you need! Going to the doc and trying something there could really help too. My dad is allergic to cats and dogs, but loves my dogs and if he's coming over, he takes his allergy meds before and the suffering is lessened. (poor guy pets 'em and loves 'em up and then ...

Vivian is right! My dog is just now getting the benifits from Potassium Bromide and she wasn't given the loading dose. This has taken aroun 95 days for it to kick in. Find a vet that has experience with this disease, as it doesn't sound like yours does. (my first vet didn't, doesn't make them bad ve...

Hi! Aww, I'm sorry you're in this predicament! I only found neem oil used for fleas or other "pest" repellants, but that's not to say it's not used as you mentioned. While I was checking into it, I did find the following website with something called Outright Allergy Relief (see below). You may have...

Thanks, Melissa! I can see now why I was confused. I checked out their other kinds of treats (besides the plain one's I listed ingredients for) and found pretty much the rest of them contain BHT. I cringe knowing the treats I used to give my dogs (snausages, jerky treats, multiple milkbone products,...

Okay, I just went to milkbone.com and got the list of ingredients. Can you help me by pointing out what the bad is? (I'm still stopping using them, but am curious what the heck I missed...it's so complicated!) Thanks! Ingredients in "small biscuits": Wheat Flour, Wheat Bran, Beef Meal And Beef Bone ...

Silly me...Here I am paying good money for Innova and still giving my babies Milkbones. No more. I had a hard time reading the ingredients on those but I guess kind of figured they're an old original style biscuit. I HAVE noticed that Ada has little spots near her feet where the fur seems very thin....

Hi and welcome to a wonderful resource! I'm glad Jane mentioned about Science Diet, as I was thinking that myself. (about the vets making more $ pushing it) I really don't have more to say than the ladies here have already said, but I wish you the best and definitely encourage you to read (or do sea...

Ada is 2 today!
I just wanted to express my happiness that with your help and my new vets help, that my Adajadey is turning 2 today! For a little bit there I wasn't sure we were going to make it to this point and am thrilled that we have! Her non-epi sister, Amber Lynn, is also 2 today. (Amber was given to my husba...
