I think I'll try that 1st, and then if that doesn't seem to help, will ask about lowering the Kbr and put the PB back to 2 grain twice a day. Thanks for the good wishes. I hope so too!

I'll mention that to the vet today. That is something I've thought about. I thought that 750 mg's twice a day for a 75 pound dog seemed kind of low compared to others though.

I have beeswax salve that would be safe to use and it's very thick so might be harder to lick all of it off. It's got the consistency of vaseline, but thicker. I got mine online, called Stassels' Beeswax Salve. It's all natural.
