Posting our dogs photos

Post by lovemypups » Sat May 13, 2006 8:51 am

Hi All,
I'm not sure if any of you have gone to "Suggestions for CEN" but some of us are trying to get a "photo of our dogs" post going. We would like to be able to get to know your dog and you better so I'm going to add a new photo of Casey and Callie and give everyone a brief history. I hope this will take off, or maybe we can just get some opions on this. How does eveyone feel about doing this and thank you Susie for starting this.
Take care all, and hope to see your pups soon.
Debbie

Think it's a great idea. I'm just trying to get a decent photo of my girl to add in.

How do you post pictures? I can't seem to get it to work. I don't have a site to post to.

Hi Everyone,
Hope all was quiet for the holidays and all of our furry friends made it thru ok. We went to visit my parents and Casey was pretty out of it, lots of drooling and slept an enormous amount of time, but no seizures, so I'm not going to complain. Emily, I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to add another way to put pictures in here. Some of us are computer challenged, (me raising my hand very high!) and someone from another site explained to me how they were doing it. Go to photobucket.com and open up an account. After you have opened your account, upload the pictures you have stored on your computer to your photobucket album. When you have done that, select the picuture you would like to post, right click with your mouse and copy the 3rd line that says "image". Shrink your photobucket page down and right mouse again at the end of your message and then paste. Preview your message first to see if your picture pasted and you are ready to submit. I hope this helps. Image

Hi MKs mom,
If I can help you get the pictures on here, please let me know. Is Snapfish a site where you can store your pictures. I've never used it before, so I'm not sure I can help you there. Did you try opening an account on Photobucket? You may email me at debsantafe@msn.com and I will try my best to walk you thru it.

I've posted pics from Snapfish on another site and it worked. I could probably go to photobucket and upload some pics there.

Kind of big, huh? I don't know why it's so big, I tried to make it smaller. Anyhoo, this is a pic of MK when he was a year old. He's bigger now with much more feathering.

I will have to get pictures of Finn although your baby is groomed so nicely, Finn is never that neat! They look so much alike though. You know how setters can vary

No offense taken, I only know that way since photobucket is firewalled at work!!!

Well, I think you are looking at a picture of Finn taken about 5 years ago hiking Maine. I will get a more recent one to post. He's become a bit gray with age and all the stress.

this one is the day I adpoted him 10-13-00 a lucky day!. You can see how thin he was. Poor boy!

Image

last one! the day we met! 10-5-00 Any guess's on how old? We were told anything between 1-2 y/o

Finn's a cutie!!!!

Looking at the pics when you got him, he looks younger than a year old but he may look that way due to malnutrition. He couldn't be 2 in that pic, my boy is 21 months old and way bigger. My 1 year old looks bigger than that, too.
