Welcome to BROCK
Hi my friends.
I would just like to tell you that I was given my new puppy yesterday. He is another Dogue De Bordeaux (KiKis nephew) and is now nearly 9 weeks old. I was very emotional yesterday as although I have another pup to love I still miss KiKi terribly.
I am trying to learn how to put the pics up - and when I finally win I will post a pic of KiKi that I have had developed and also one of Brock.
I have called him Brock in honour of Peter Brock the Australian motor racing legend who was tragically killed in a rally accident last year. His racing number was 05 and in the litter there were 0 girls (she died at birth) and 5 boys.

Good evening Jane,
I'm so happy for you and please post some pictures for us. I know it must still be hard for you, and even though Brock can't take KiKi's place, you now have some brand new adventures to begin. I'm sure Borck is just as sweet as KiKi was as a pup. Enjoy your new puppy and give him a big hug from us. Thinking of you and wishing you nothing but good times in 2007.

Thank you all for your good wishes. It has been a very long time since I have had to look after such a small !!!!! ( 9kg - 20lb @ 9 weeks) puppy as KiKi was 6 months old when I got her and I forgot how much of a bundle of energy they were. He wore himeself out last night chasing leaves and while he slept he started those puppy dreams - I nearly lost it as I walked into the room and saw his little!!!! feet running. I thought oh no not again. The initial panic subsided when I found I could wake him and he was fine.
Keeping ever vigilant.

Hi Jane,
Congratulations on your new pup. I'm glad you went ahead with the decision to get another dog. I know it's hard and like Debbie said no dog can replace another it does give us a nice furry piece to replace the whole in our hearts. I still miss Sam terribly but Cooper has been a pure joy.
I am also becoming a mommy for the 2nd time. I'm picking up my 2nd Boston Terrier on Thursday, his name is Winchester!!
Good luck with Brock and I can't wait to see some pictures!!
Take care,
Emily

Hi Emily - congrats on #2. I think Bostons are really cute - it's those ears !!! I think they look like bats. My younger daughter wants a Boston when she gets her own home and is going to call him Bartok.
My eldest daughter runs a puppy class with a lady who breeds Bostons.
At the moment Brock is SLEEPING after keeping the entire rural neighbourhood awake last night. He will be sleeping with us for a while until he adjusts.

Jane!
Congrats on the new puppy! I don't know how I missed your post, but I just saw it now. What did you name her? Did you get her from the same breeder?
