Pre seizure advice?

Hello, I am new here, a very worried mummy, and have a few questions. My little boy frenchie, Loki, started having seizures last week, he turns four next month. He has been taken to a specialist, had a MRI and spinal fluid test, all have come back clear. He was seizing once every 12 hours, but he has had 6 in the last 24, he is currently at our specialist being monitored. The specialist had seen a video clip I had taken, but not experienced one herself, but today he had one as he was taken to the ward so she managed to see it for herself. She is concerned that his signs arnt normal for epilepsy, if there is anything such as normal! Ok, so at the start of the episodes he really hunches up, like he's in severe pain, then will wander about, try to get in/on things, he drinks during these times, he may collapse, but not allways, he will lay down sometimes seem to have a small seizure, then the walking resumes. Eventually he will fall asleep. He has yelped out once or twice at the beginning of these episodes, and maybe twice when he is trying to get onto things. He is having another MRI scan tmrw to see if he has back or back problems, my specialist doesn't think there will be, but her senior said that he's not presenting as a typical epileptic episode. I tend to agree, as I give him massages, and he has never yelped.
So, to the point, has anyone experienced anything similar to what I have described?

I'm sorry that you and Loki are going through this. It's hard enough to deal with this disease when it's 'typical' but can't imagine how scary it is to hear the vet tell you he's not presenting in a typical epileptic way. I'm sorry I can't offer any advice to this, but hope you will keep us posted on what's going on and how you're doing.

My dog has similar behaviours as you describe.
It doesn’t really look like seizures.
My dog never collapses or looses consciousness.
He just does the pacing and digging.... and looks like cramping in his hind area that he tries to lick and bite.
He gets very hot and tired/defeated in the end.... it could last up to 9hrs.... which is too long for an event.

I assume it might be pre or post ictal behaviours but would really love to know.

I have posted videos in my first post on the forums yesterday.

What ever happened with your dog?
