I just want to say
thank-you all! This board and the people on it are wonderfull.
1 year ago tomorrow, Dylan had his first seizure. actually, he had 5 in 12 hours.our world came crashing down around us.my husband found this place not too long after that, on a seizure filled night that he was awake and letting me get some sleep.
with all your strenght and wisdom,we have adjusted to this monster in our lives.
and I owe you more then thank-you can ever say.
next week Dylan will be 10 months free, but I still jump when he stretches and go running when I hear a thump.
I know so meny of your poor babies are still struggleing for some type of controll. and I so wish there was something that could be done.
I think of you all everyday, and check hear for news everyday. and yes, I have a box of kleenex here now too, because I have cried here too meny times.
wishing you all well,& seizure free days&nights.

Debby,
That's wonderful that Dylan is doing so well! I'm happy to hear good news for a change.
Are you still weaning him off of the Pb?

Hi Debby
This is fantastic - I'm so pleased for you and Dylan.
Like you, I also had my world turned upside down, when Poppy had her first seizures coming up to 10 months ago . I felt so alone and helpless. I then found this site (it is on the Royal Vet College Epilepsy Clinic as a link) and it has been such a help and comfort to talk to my fellow epi buddies.
I think our hearts will always leap/jump whenever we hear a thump! I just wish that there was more that could be done for those that are struggling to control the awful monster.
I wish you and Dylan many many more seizure free times!

Hi Debby,
I think it's just wonderful that Dylan has been able to go as long as he has. That is so great. I will be thinking many good thoughts that he can make it a year! Won't that be a wonderful acccomplishment. Sending many hugs to you both and I agree, this site and the support is great!
Keep up the good work Dylan

So good to hear Dylan's doing so well. I think we all felt the same when we came here. I check this site & read the .com journal everyday. Even when I don't post I think of you all & wish the best for everyone every day.
Epliepsy not only changed my dog's life it changed me forever. I know I don't have to explain we all just understand.
