Poppy - almost 1 year seizure free!

Hi there to everyone on this wonderful site

Just to post that Poppy is almost 1 year seizure free!! In the dark days at the beginning of her condition, I never felt that there was much hope of a normal life for Poppy and me - but I was wrong, I am so pleased that Poppy responded so well to Pb.

I still wake up and my heart races when I hear her at night, but no longer do I have those sleepless nights, listening out for every movement/noise that she makes.

Apart from a little weight gain - Poppy is her normal 'mad as a hatter' self!

I still drop by regularly to catch up to see how the other epi dogs are doing, and it breaks my heart when I hear that some are not doing so well.

Congratulations Mandy and Poppy!!! That is SUCH a good run! I hope for both your sakes that Poppy's seizures were secondary to something else and he won't have anymore. Here's hoping!!!!

That is fantastic. I've enjoyed seeing Poppy's photos and I copied and pasted to a friend of mine who rescues Greyhounds and who grew up with Whippets...she is in love with Poppy!

I'll pass on the great news.
