So far, so good!

My Border Collie, "Snorri the Priest" started having siezures with a single episode in May 2001, at age 3. The second was 63 days later, then the third 39 days after, then at 34 days, then at 21 days - this one being a cluster of four in 35 minutes.

He was taken to the Vet at 4 am, and he had a shot of Rompun. He went on to 30 mg phenobarb twice a day, immediately after that.

Two and a half months (counting) and no more siezures as yet. He has spent his afternoon today romping on the beach with his brother, without a care in the world (other than the dread of having to go home again soon!).

I know he is not cured, but he is having a really good time - and isn't that what it's all about?

Trust your vet!

Hi Dougie,
That's great news to hear! Keep up the good work! And thank you for posting good news - so often we only hear the bad news, and it's important for others dealing with this to know that there are happy tales (and happy tails) to tell!!
