We have a Golden Retriever/Greyhound mix that began having grand mal seizures at around age 3. The first few were about 3 months apart and became more frequent and severe during the next 18 months. The last two were about 2 weeks apart. After consulting with our vet we decided to start him on Keppra generic 500mg tablet every 12 hours. He had one more mild seizure about two days into the start of the Keppra but has been totally seizure free since.
It has been 2.5 years since his last seizure and he is in excellent health. We have been getting the Keppra generic from a licensed Canadian pharmacy for 68 cents/pill in quantity's of 100 pills.
