45 Days!

Doing a Snoopy dance, it's been 45 days since Shilohs last seizure, plus the fact that it was only one instead of the clusters he would normally have. He's doing well on the walks with his boots and getting used to the ramp to get in and out of the car. Counting myself so blessed!

We are doing the Snoopy dance with you. I, like you, have been thankful for the longer times in between and that so far they are isolated to a single seizure. Here's to our beautiful and special pups and continued successes.

Congrats on the snoopy dance!!! Cali's neurologist did one of those when Cali hit a year!!!

Well, today would of been day 48, but he had a seizure while I was home for lunch. What a great 47 days we had. Brought him to work so I can monitor him. Here's praying for at least another long break and that this one was an isolated one and not the beginning of a cluster.

Me too, but we had 47 days AND an isolated seizure so very thankful. We can live with that.

Well crud, he's just had his 4th seizure in 3 days, two of them that I know he was awake. Praying that was his last for a while.

Sorry about that...Cali clustered after her 7 month streak seizure free...only had one, thought she was in the clear, then two days later BAM, had 10.

Yeah, it's disappointing, but as many of you know, it doesn't help to focus on it. Gave him some Valium so hopefully that'll work.

I'm sorry Colleen. I hope this streak had ended. This stupid disease is so hard and tricky to try and get a hold of sometimes. I just hate it. We're praying this has ended for you guys too.

Thanks Cynthia. I can't tell you how much I hate the unpredictability of this stupid disease! There's no "normal" or a one-size-fits-all med. always waiting for the next one that we know is coming we just don't know when. And with Shiloh, his seizures were as far as I know happened while he was resting/sleeping. Since about October he's been having more while awake which makes me nervous cause I see it as a progression.

Sigh........ Well it is what it is and am grateful he's never gone into status or had them last more than a few minutes, so I'm thankful for a great many things and think that helps keep me from getting depressed.

Appreciate the prayers and keep you in mine as well.
