Three weeks!

Post by Eley's Mom » Thu Apr 02, 2015 6:55 am

Three weeks ago today, I was nearly faced with having to put Eley down. She was clustering worse than she ever had. She had so much medicine in her that she could barely walk and she was still continuing to seize.

My vet thought it was time and the emergency vet had one more drug he could try to stop that cluster. It really was not looking good.

Some how, some way, the cluster stopped.

Eley is now three weeks seizure free!! This is the longest we have gone since January.

I really feel like we're now on borrowed time since nobody expected that night to end well.

Just wanted to share a bit of positive news :)
