RIP to Doogle

Post by skrpio » Sun Nov 02, 2008 6:39 pm

For those that may have read my posts and seen me mention Doogle the Beagle who had suffered epilepsy for many years.

I have just learned that after his diet was changed and that he had not had any seizures for 18 months he suddenly had a Grand Mal which caused his spine to snap and thus left him paralized.
He was put to sleep as there was no hope to get him well again.

Rest in peace with all the others before you Doogle. I will miss you wandering across the road to the store to beg for french fries from the customers.

Hi,

I don't recall you mentioning Doogle. Obviously, he was a pup that lived near you?

He snapped his spind during a grand mal? Oh my GOD! That poor little dog.

I'm so sorry for Doogle and his owners, may the shamrocks fall softly (even if he isn't an Irish Setter).

I will pass your thoughts onto his owners. Thank you.
They are in the process of having a baby as I type.

Gosh, I'm so sorry to read this. Is this something else to worry about when our dogs are in seizure? So sad. My condolences to Doogle's family
