Possible Adverse Reaction To Phenobarb?

Hello, I was wondering if anybody here has heard of any dogs having an adverse reaction to Phenobarbital? My dog is very ill at the moment after having a twisted liver, he is not recovering & tests show that his liver is not recovering either. He shows signs of infection, but so far after 2 weeks at a specialist centre nothing has been found.
He was only prescribed Phenobarb a month ago, but 2 weeks after taking it fell ill. He is 6 years old.

You have a veterinary college in England, but I can't recall the name. It's the Royal College of something, are you familiar with it? If you haven't already, call them and see if they can help you.
