One of the results from Lily's latest blood work was an excessively high tryglyceride level. Her doctor said a typical high reading is 290; Lily's initial blood work was 5,000! A second test a few weeks later continued to show an elevated level of 1,000. I've put her on low-fat dog food and have limited her diet. Next Monday, she's scheduled for more blood work.
Have any of your seizure dogs had high tryglyceride levels? If the levels are managed, did it reduce seizure issues?
