Roxie went to the Bridge

Post by Estelle » Tue Jan 02, 2007 5:39 pm

Hi All,

Sorry to say that Roxie has been having seizures for 3 days. This afternoon things took a turn for the worse where Roxie wasn't able to recover before the next seizure hit. We carried her out to the car and went to the vets. We made the decision to set her free from the seizures.

Estelle,
I'm so very sorry to hear about Roxie. I know that had to be a very tough decision, but you did what you felt was best and now Roxie is at peace. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Sending hugs to you.

Oh I am so very sorry to hear about Roxie. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. What a sad way to start the new year off.
This is what happened to my precious KiKi - not being able to get out of one seizure before the next struck.
Roxie is free now to play with all the other epi-dogs at the Rainbow Bridge.
Having been there - you made the only decision that you could.

Dear Estelle,

I am so very sorry that another one of the gang had to leave. I was there with Kain recently and I know it is so very hard. Today I dreamt of Kain and he has his special place in my heart forever.
I wish I could say anything that will help you but be assured that Roxie is now playing with Sam, Kain, Smythe,Kiki,Lilly (sorry if I forgot anyone).
My prayers are with you and your family.

Love,
Helen

Estelle,

It saddens me so much to read of this bit of news. I'm so sorry for your loss. So many of the pups on this board have lost their lives at such young ages, it's just not fair.

Oh Estelle, I'm sorry to hear of your sad news and the loss of Roxie. It's the hardest decision to make but be at peace knowing that while Roxie was with you you did everything you could with the knowledge you had. And now that she is at the bridge she is pain and seizure free running and playing with all the other dogs who've gone before her.

You are in my thoughts during this difficult time!!

Take care,
Emily

very sorry to hear of your loss. You did everything and more and made the right decision although I am sure it was heart breaking. Please remember the good times, the kisses and cute face and all the love that our dogs give so unconditionally.
