We lost our beloved Dixie today

Post by Dixies Mom » Fri Jul 22, 2011 7:58 pm

We lost our girl today. We got home from work and she was out in the yard under a shade tree just laying there. It appeared she had a massive seizure and passed away. She was 8 1/2 years old and the best dog we ever could have asked for. Just wanted to say thank you for the support that I have found on this website. I have told other doggie parents about this site and how helpful it has been for us and our girl hoping it may offer them some help with their seizure dogs. I am thankful for the time I had with her, though it was not nearly enough.

I am so sorry to hear the news, Tina. God bless her that she was able to make it that far in life. Treasure all the good memories and know that you did whatever possible to help her live a happy life. She had a great home! Stay strong, and I wish you my deepest condolences.

Hi Tina,
I'm so sorry that you lost your baby to this horrible disease. I'm convinced that these special dogs come to us because somehow the universe knows that they will be in the care of very caring and loving people. I know you did the very best that you could. Know that she knew it too.
We're still here for you.

Take Care,
Lynne
