It is with profound sadness that I have to to you to tell you that my MK lost his battle yesterday. I came home from work and found him in very bad shape, I was sure it was aspiration pneumonia. By the time I got him to the hospital, his temperature was 107 degrees and the vet told me that this could cause his clotting mechanism to go and it did. they got his temps down and he seemed to be perking up and as fast as he improved his blood pressure plummeted and the blood filled his lungs and organs. The vet only gave me a 20% chance of survival and said he'd get worse as the blood entered his lungs, so I made the decision to make it stop for him.

I am so sad that I don't know what to do. I hope that MK is running at the Bridge with Kiki, Finn and all the rest from the list and none of them have hindend weakness, seizures or anything else to hold them back.

Vivian

Vivian, i rarely come here anymore so i just saw this sad news about my old friend MK. I know it's so terrible to lose our beautiful epi dogs in this way, a real nightmare come true.

During the time i was on this forum you were so helpful to me, so thank you for that. Trite as it sounds, time will eventually heal the wounds. Take care.

Vivian, I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I know what MK meant to you. I have been trying to stay away from here, dealing with our own battles, otherwise I would have seen this sooner.

You have done so much for Jezzabelle and myself, and if there is anything I can do please let me know. MK is definitely playing on the the other side of the Rainbow Bridge and was welcomed with open arms!!

Kay and Jezzabelle
