I am posting this under success stories because 253 days is a great streak. It happened around 11:30pm friday night, about an hour after we went to bed. Although it is very disappointing to have to start our count over again, I was hoping she would get to the 1 year mark so I could "think" about a reduction in meds. I do hope this is encouraging for others to see, that sometimes you can gain good controll and life with an epi dog is not always so bad. Kiya lives a totally normal life. We have an appointment friday to have all her blood work done. Oh well. _________________ Carolyn

What disappointing news. Did something happen that may have brought this on? _________________ Jane

Sooooo close to a year. We all know how disappointing this monster is, but your Kiya has done very well..... all things considered.

Oh Carolyn
It's like a crashing defeat when they have a seizure having gone so long without.
My dog went just over 2 years and then they returned, I thought we were on the road to reducing the Pb.
Good luck and hope the next run is even longer.

Thanks everyone. No Jane, absolutely nothing out ot the ordinary. She's been very playful and "normal". I have an appointment friday morning for blood tests, we're over due. I am greatful for the long run. _________________ Carolyn

Wow, what I wouldn't give for a month, let alone 253 days, I just can't imagine!!!! I am so sorry that the seizures returned, but look what a wonderful reprieve you had and maybe your count will be longer next time!!! Good luck.
